Working from the Fulham Road’s Watch Gallery, he presides over a collection that spans from the Twenties to the early Eighties. He tracked down a rare Forties Bubbleback Rolex for Dustin Hoffman and is helping Henry Dent-Brocklehurst amass a collection of timepieces to display at Sudeley Castle. “Watches make a wonderful investment,” says Bolt, who settled on his career path aged 11, having watched James Bond use a vintage Rolex to saw through a rope in Live and Let Die. In a neat twist, he recently bought the Rolex at auction and persuaded Roger Moore to sign it.
