In my opinion, the now approaching 100 year old Cartier American Tank, is quite simply the classiest dress watch of all time. Though I'd love to own an original 1920s example, this ltd slimline rose gold boutique piece, still capable of housing an automatic movement, is a great evolution. I love the Art Deco dial and that it's elegance isn't disrupted by way of a calendar & centre seconds hand like the standard versions.
