During the 1970's a rare series of platinum 1802's were ordered by the Sultan of Oman which had extra large diamonds on their blue Khanjar dials. Supplied through Aspreys of Bond Street, John Asprey liked the look of the watches hence ordered one in the same configuration minus the royal crest.
