The reference 18059 is the rarest of all with regards to the Rolex Day-Date. They were all in white gold and predominantly pertain to the rainbow variants which achieve prices of approximately £800,000 today. The rainbows (of which there are only 3 known) were less than this diamond example (of which there is only one) & consisted of coloured sapphire stones which were less than this diamond variant at their point of initial retail. Everyone's a winner though as this rarer more expensive example is substantially less today than the other version! It's also interesting to note that this is the only white gold diamond Jubilee bracelet known to exist. The other variants ran President bracelets leaving us to speculate that this watch with its 'Garden' Pavè sapphire & diamond dial must have been by special request. A truly phenomenal piece.
