Only eight examples of the 5020 were produced in platinum of which only 3 had black diamond dials. The 5020 cushion or 'TV' shape cases proved unpopular upon release, everyone opting for the smaller round cased 3970 option instead, hence though available for a decade, fewer than 160 were actually sold. These were predominantly divided between yellow, rose & white gold rendering every version a cast iron investment but the platinum option the king of them all.
